  • Course Description:
this course focuses on referencing and citing sources. First, the course introduces referencing. it also tackles the notion of plagiarism and how to avoid it. this includes the referencing styles among which we shall discuss the APA and the MLA referencing styles. the focus will be on the APA style.
 
  • Recommended Prerequisites:
    - At this level, students should have a piece of prior knowledge about the basic research skills
    required for a university student.
 
  • Course Objectives:
By the end of this semester, students will be able to:
 
  1.  be aware of plagiarism and referencing;
  2. make the difference between the two referencing styles: APA and MLA;
  3. learn how to cite using the APA style.
  4. Write a research paper
