Ce cours de français s'adresse aux étudiants de première
année langue et littérature anglaise. Il leur permet de maîtriser les fondements de la grammaire
française et leur offre une exploration approfondie des règles grammaticales
de la langue française, fournissant une base solide pour la
compréhension et l'utilisation correcte de la langue. Le cours de français se concentre principalement sur les
structures grammaticales essentielles de la langue. Les étudiants
exploreront les aspects tels que la conjugaison des verbes, la formation
des phrases, l'utilisation des pronoms, les temps verbaux, les
articles, les prépositions, et bien d'autres éléments clés de la
grammaire française. Ce cours offre une opportunité précieuse aux étudiants de première année
anglophones de renforcer leurs compétences linguistiques en français, en
mettant l'accent sur la grammaire, un élément clé de la maîtrise de la

Reading Comprehension & Writing Skills
General objectives
It aims at helping students to master the basic technical side of writing. Students will be able to write and analyse simple sentences with their different patterns.
Specific objectives
The student is introduced with the main parts of speech that can play a role as a part of a simple sentence
The student is introduced with the different parts of the sentence and the six patterns of a simple sentence
The student is introduced to the phrase and its kinds. He learns how a phrase can function as a single grammatical function in a sentence.

Introduction of the Subject :
This subject is a general over view of basic grammar pattern. It provides the basic instruction in the eight parts of speech; nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Likewise, models, conditional, reported speech, passive voice and tenses are elucidated as well.
Objectives :
This course aims to ameliorate students’ level in grammar by :
- Providing interesting information with simple vocabulary in order to increase the student’s desire to learn grammar.
- Explaining Each grammatical rule with relevant examples.
- Testing the learners’ skills and understanding with exercises included in each lecture.
LISTENING COMPREHENSION AND ORAL SKILLS
This course is designed to enhance the listening comprehension and oral expression skills of intermediate-level English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. Through a variety of activities and exercises, students will develop their ability to understand spoken English and communicate effectively in oral interactions.

This course will help you develop good reading strategies and advanced vocabulary building tips.
