Upon completion of the course, students are expected to: broaden their knowledge of the research process and research paper writing.
Text Studies
The objectives of this course:
Enhancing critical reading, analytical thinking, and communication skills of EFL students.
Developing deeper understanding of various texts, fostering cultural awareness and literary appreciation. Promoting the ability to interpret and articulate ideas effectively.
Reading Comprehension and Written expression
Course Objectives
By the end of this semester the students will be able to produce a coherent text, and have a mastery over the basic and essential essay writing techniques. They will be able to develop their ideas in a well-structured meaningful 5-paragaraph essay.

2. Utilize IPA symbols to transcribe words and sentences, and adeptly apply word and sentence stress in both recognition and production.
3. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of connected speech elements such as Elision, Assimilation, Linking, and Rhythm.
