
Course Objectives
- Approach understanding and written expression in the language of study with the goal of enabling the student to produce cohesive content.
- Allow the student to expand his textual, meta-textual, and linguistic knowledge by reading various sorts of texts and producing them later.
- Install and develop reading and writing skills (strategies).
- Know how to distinguish between literal and inferential meaning.
Prerequisite
-To develop all of the abilities required for written expression, a highly structured, explicit, and methodical teaching strategy is required, with plenty of opportunities for students to practise and apply newly acquired skills.
