Text studies

This course introduces students to the foundational principles of textual analysis in English Studies. It aims to equip learners with the tools to read, interpret, and critically analyze a wide range of texts, both literary and non-literary. Through the close reading of selected texts—including poetry, prose, drama, speeches, and articles—students will develop an understanding of how language, structure, and context shape meaning.
